What does the Health Check monitor?
The ShipRateAPI Health Check gives you a live view of the three core services that power rate calculations at checkout. All three must be operational for your stores to receive live shipping rates.
API Service
The ShipRateAPI REST API processes every quote request from your platform plugin. If this is degraded, rate requests will not be fulfilled.
Database
Stores your carriers, zones, rate tables, and account configuration. A degraded database means rate rules cannot be retrieved.
Quote Cache
A memory-based cache that serves repeated rate requests instantly without re-processing. If degraded, quotes are still served but at higher latency.
